there a difference between radars I see for
sale elsewhere that are kind of the same, and
these radars? Yes.
Beltronics have had the models we sell designed
with a more specific Ka band for radar used
here in NZ and Australia. The Bel STI driver
for example, does NOT have the same detection
capacity and band width as the Bel XR AU/NZ,
the parallel imported models are not the same. |

Is my radar I bought off an online auction or
parallel importer covered by Beltronics warranty?
If the radar you have
purchased was originally sold in New Zealand
by an AUTHORISED distributor, then this may
be fine as long as it is within the warranty
period, and all warranty criteria is met. |

Any
unit NOT santioned by Neltronics on their website,
must be returned to the place of purchase to
be sent back to where-ever it was bought from
for warranty issues. All AUTHORISED Beltronics
agents have access to full support and service
within NEW ZEALAND for units sold here. Is it
worth taking the risk to save a few bucks buying
off an online shop. All our products have this
assured warranty. |
